Some Common Problem Faced By Students in Writing a Dissertation

Dissertation writing is a tedious job, which takes significant time and energy. No doubt, most of the students consider it a frightening tool to measure scientific knowledge of a person. Whether some students find it frustrating and the toughest task on earth, others find research based study to be extremely helpful for career growth and development. Also, planning plays an influential role in deciding the fate of thesis because this is the point where research paper’s game is either made or broken.

However, when final grade is dependent on student’s individual research, then one has to put in all his/her efforts to produce something extremely valuable and admirable. A well planned-out dissertation is easily identifiable because it reflects student’s serious efforts in executing the research based assignment. But, the most common problem observed among students is they do not believe in their writing skills. They start doubting their writing skills and knowledge to complete the task successfully, so doubting and disbelieving in your writing potential is the worst thing you can do to yourself and your writing. To survive this situation, gather as much relevant data as possible and make yourself well-aware about the do’s and don’ts of the chapters, just focus, relaxed and do not doubt your skills.

Instead of educating you more on the topic, reading more than you can absorb would confuse you to an extent where you would find yourself stuck in a miserable situation. so, in order to quick-fix mistakes, you have to only skim through relevant pieces of information on different sources such as reference/text books, internet sources, secondary research and other similar material available either digitally or in the printed form.

Leaving your dissertation for the last minute is the worst thing you can do. When you leave everything to the last minute, it would get pretty difficult to handle and maintain control over your thesis. Even if you give it a good start, you may find yourself stuck in the middle of the research paper despondently. However, creating a timeline and setting SMART goals, would help you achieve conclusive results at the end of the day.
